Another day, and we have finished several more 'winterizing projects' and a lot of work in the basement area. Writing? Not so much - which gives me a headache. It's starting to get colder by the hour here tonight. We are at 45 now, heading down to the low thirties. My cell keeps beeping in to tell... Sign in to see full entry.
We had a nice evening last night. Fudge, laughing and talking together, a movie, a short walk down the back alley so we could see the stars, and just being together. I couldn't have ask for anything more. I consider myself a 'wordsmith,' but my words fail me when I attempt to explain my life as it... Sign in to see full entry.

LOL. I'm fixing to get a beating here. I made a small platter of fudge and ol' 'sweet cheeks' was telling me, 'You're going to make me fat!' Enter stupid comment: 'I've seen your butt. It ain't fat and eating four pieces of fudge won't make it so.' I had forgotten how sensitive some girls are about... Sign in to see full entry.
I'm going to take a break here for two hours or so. I'm feeling good yet, but there is no need to push myself yet. In the mean time, I was sent this website on Twitter. Anyone else get that feeling that something might goofy with joining it? It's named 'Write Phobia' with a weird twist on pushing... Sign in to see full entry.
Today is my first day back where I don't feel like I need to go lie down again. Circumstances permitting, I might actually get something done today. It is supposed to be 70 here, but when I opened the door to let the dogs into the big yard, the skies are dark and foreboding. The radar shows clear... Sign in to see full entry.

This was such a lovely day. It was chilly with a decent wind coming in off the big lake, but the company I had kept me warm. I keep trying to keep from coming off as a young adult or a teenager with his first real love, but I can't. I'm feeling much better now. I still have a tinge of being... Sign in to see full entry.
The Adventures of Dick and Jane
We are back. We bought about $425 worth of eats for the next month plus enough OJ and Diet Coke to keep us sober. Like me, Lisa is fairly much a non-drinker. We went right up to the Michigan-Canada border just north of Sault Ste. Marie, but despite having 'enhanced driver's licenses,' Canada... Sign in to see full entry.
Lisa and I are going to run over to the Soo to do some shopping. We'll be back about 2PM, God willing and the Creeks don't rise. I find my priorities are changing rapidly. Ain't that peculiar? Sign in to see full entry.

In Response To An Email
We ended up doing some light work around the place and called it a day. We haven't really had a day to ourselves in a while, so we took this one off. I got an email from someone who must just lurk here without really posting or at least I didn't recognize the user name... but it doesn't really... Sign in to see full entry.
I am going to go 'with' Lisa to take the dogs out for a walk. We have a trail that is short of hills and valleys, but long on beauty, so that is where we are going. Lisa is a 'big city' driver that is slowly learning that not everything and everyplace is like the Daytona 500. I love her dearly, but... Sign in to see full entry.
