Looks like a wonderful morning so far with the chance of some showers wandering in later this morning. Not that it affects you folks much other than it shuts me up for a day or three, but I've gotten word that I need to go back down to Lansing for more testing and possible surgery on Monday/Tuesday,... It took a while, but I finally got my headache to back down enough to write. My left eye still isn't happy about being open, but I'm making it tough it out.I think, just by the way it feels, that this is a migraine headache brought on by working on my other story. The only way to shed it is to work... Sign in to see full entry.
It's a beautiful morning, but I've still have the remnants of a headache. While it won't keep me from walking the dogs and such, it might keep me from doing a lot of writing. Hopefully it lets up. The string og 90+ temps that suddenly become days of 65 or less followed by days of 88+ might be a... Sign in to see full entry.

It could be the huge and rapid change of temperatures here or the massive cold front that is sweeping through the UP, but I have a massive sinus pressure headache. I was supposed to go to one of the local churches here to give a speech, but I've begged off doing it until next week. This is the first... Sign in to see full entry.
This One Won't Get Me Any Friends...
A beautiful day, so it's too bad I have to waste it driving to the Soo to get a few last batch of groceries before the crazy 'rules' our nutjob governor decreed on Friday take effect tomorrow. Have a good day! V Sign in to see full entry.

It was a very nice day. We did some walking and traveling. I managed to get about 6500 new words down on 'paper,' did some substantial research on another project, and mowed the backyard. I'm hoping that tomorrow is an even better day. Strive to be happy! Sign in to see full entry.
I just posted the opening of a new story. This one is gonna hurt. It will hurt me more than it does you, but I hope it will move you as well. Hell, just posting it has caused my eyes to well up. I'm writing and posting this to help myself 'get back to normal.' I have been so emotionally lost for so... Sign in to see full entry.
Yeah! I started my YT feed this morning, and the first song out of the box was Chuck Mangione's " Feels So Good! " What a lovely way to start the day. I was a cornet player, now frequently and improperly called a trumpet - there is a big difference between the two- all the way through high school... Sign in to see full entry.

A very productive day. Despite the rain, Kagan I went down to the rifle range and played with our pistols. If you don't use them on a regular basis, when it become necessary to use them, you might hesitate at a critical moment. I hope to never have to shoot at a man, wolf, coyote, bear, or a moose,... Wow! It is raining like crazy outside and the temps are a pleasant 68 right now. That's pretty close to perfect for me. My smallest dog, Hannah, goes out just long enough to 'do her thing,' and then she heads inside. Brutus, my Boxer, doesn't mind the rain, but he isn't into frolicking in it....
