I am glad to be home. It's cold here, but the air is clean, the scenery inside and out is beautiful, and it is quiet. You forget how quiet it is here until you go somewhere else. Good morning. In an effort to make time and beat traffic, we left Grand Rapids about six this morning. Depending on any back ups or slowdowns, we should be home before noon. I have checked into a nice hotel on the south end of Plainfield Ave in northern Grand Rapids while Lisa has gone to visit some friends over in Lansing, a 45 minute trip from here to there. We are at a Walmart in the city of Alma, about 40 miles north of Lansing. We got off to a good start and despite some on and off rain showers, this has been an uneventful trip.
