I mowed the 'back forty' of my yard in 86 degree temps. I am going to find my recliner and nap a bit as the heat began to get to me. I've taken a shower and cooled off. I'll be back to work on both of my 'afternoon stories' soon. In Florida, this heat would have been a cool day. I haven't seen but... Sign in to see full entry.

Me and You and a Dog Named Boo...

I had my neighbor go with me out in the forest today, and had him snap some photos of the dogs and me. I'm trying to display Brutus's 23" (I measured it!) tail. This was the tail that whacked my Roku TV and busted the liquid crystals in the screen, making it filled with black streaks. Some of you... Sign in to see full entry.

Although I only got about six hours of sleep last night, I don't remember having any dreams or other interruptions. It was warm enough to leave the back yard doors open, allowing the dogs to come and go as they pleased. I suspect that Buster spent the night outside, listening to the coyotes yip.... I just added about 1100 words to a new segment of 'Interdimensional,' giving me a total for the day of about 6700 words written. No wonder my right middle finger is killing me. I hurt that finger several months back, and it is still telling me that I am a moron. I've laid in the final 'clue' of what... Sign in to see full entry.

Busy day so far. I added about 1400 words in my murder story being posted in the 'Mature' section. I don't want or need to offend anyone. This story is coming along better than I had thought it might. It is being written as a ' stream of consciousness ' or a constant flow of the narrators thoughts... Sign in to see full entry.

If it hadn't been for my new neighbor lady deciding she needed to mow her grass at 6:45 this morning, I would have had a great start on what seems to be a wonderful day. I'll live beyond that inconvenience today. It's that kind of day. In going through my email this morning, (I average about 35 over... Sign in to see full entry.

I am allowing my young hero a moment of 'young love' in my latest entry of 'Interdimensional.' I know where it's going, but the exact final path hasn't yet been finalized in my head. Give me a day or two yet, and it will get there. It's a beautiful evening. It's 55 or so, and the wind is almost... Sign in to see full entry.

One More

I'm putting up a new blog area to allow me to post something that about 95% of you won't want to read. I'm not as stupid as I appear some days, and the last thing I want to do is offend anyone here. It is not in my nature to purposely offend people. Thus the new story appears over in the 'Mature'... Sign in to see full entry.

I hadn't been sleeping the best, so when I found one of Judy's old prescription bottle of Quetiapine that had a few very small crumbs of a very large pill in it, I figured, 'what the heck?' Yeah. Ten hours later, I wake up, still groggy and unstable. 'Don't do drugs.' Wow. It was always refereed to... Sign in to see full entry.

New Audible Tools

With Audible remaining in a dead stall, I've continued to write for the day that they finally 'open' for the summer. I've learned a little trick that seems to be working. ACX, the tech side of Audible, gives narrators some great tools. The newest one is a fantastic situation that I am using to... Sign in to see full entry.
