This was sent to me by my good, friend, Beem Weeks out of Lansing. Beem is a top-notch writer and editor in my opinion. I thought that the group would profit from reading it. V Kindness Versus the Truth: Which One Wins? by Beem Weeks Just a little observation. Kindness versus the truth: Which one... Sign in to see full entry.
Twas a relatively decent night last night. Temps dipped into the mid-20s and are expected to nudge 40 this afternoon. There is a good chance that most of this snow will be gone by the weekend. It will once again drop into the teens as highs. We will be traveling to Lansing this weekend to be with... Sign in to see full entry.

Late Update
The morning and early afternoon got away from me, and I am just walking back into my make-shift office since I left this morning. It started with my neighbor asking me a question about our property line (all quite friendly!) and went on from there. It was actually a decent day for this time in... Sign in to see full entry.
We were finally able to get the car out of the driveway and my 'plow-guy' cleaned out my drive. I spent about an hour yesterday shoveling snow, and another 45 minutes this morning. I gotta get out of here, and soon. I'm in good physical condition, but shoveling snow that I should have never even... Sign in to see full entry.

We Survived!
Whew! We have survived a massive blizzard, although I think it will take a bit to dig out. I took a team of dogs out, and after twenty minutes, we found the car. It took me about half an hour to clear the vehicle of the snow that covered it and open the door on the car. It started right up, and I... Sign in to see full entry.

Your 'On The Spot Weather Man!' & the Story Begins to Wind Down
The snow began to fall in earnest about 10 last night, and once it did, it has yet to stop. I'm not sure if and when it is going to stop at this minute. The wind has picked up substantially in the past hour, meaning that we could lose power again very soon, so I'll pump this out as quickly as I can.... Sign in to see full entry.

With the storm gathering, I am attempting to get in as much material as possible. I have told Lisa that if she wants to post here tonight, she needs to get in my office and do it! LOL. We'll see what happens! In the meantime, here is something to think about. In three words, I can sum up everything... Sign in to see full entry.
Plotting & Pantsing & More Story
Despite the power being off more than it was on last night, we stayed warm and safe. It looks like we got roughly eight inches of new snow just glancing out the window. The forecast calls for a decent day in the low thirties, but much after five this afternoon, things begin to get crazy again. There... Sign in to see full entry.

We will have our cells charged uptightly, and we are warm with all the food we will need. In the event we 'disappear' for a day,... Sign in to see full entry.
