There's No Place Like Home

Lisa is home, and for the first time in three days, I feel complete again. Yes, this is Verwayne writing 'sappy' stuff like that. Whew. It was a long night with a short nap. I will head to Tallahassee at about 6 PM & tonight to pick up my wife. Of course, the dogs will ride along. It's crazy, but I have been up most of the night talking with Lisa. She is a very intelligent woman, but she is unknown waters for her. I'm sorry that I haven't been here much today. I've spent a lot of time talking with my wife. I don't think it's the death of her Aunt Helen that is causing Lisa problems. I spoke briefly with my wife a few minutes ago. Her aunt Helen is stable, but she also told me she has 'the look.' Anyone who has worked in the medical field for very long well knows 'the look.' I took my wife to the airport in Tallahassee about 3AM for a flight that left at 6:45 AM. I fell asleep again once I got home around 7 AM and didn't wake up until 11:20 when she called me from Lansing. She has arrived safely and is staying with her family.
