Snowy Tahquamenon
This was one of those 'lucky shots' that you get when you least expect it. I was going to use my cell phone to take a photo of the mighty Tahquamenon Falls when a gust of wind knocked some snow out of a nearby tree. This photo caught the aftermath. Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

Great Horned Owl
I've seen a few of these as I wandered the forest, but finding one in such an open area was unusual. Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

Kitch-iti-kipi in the Winter
This is a huge natural spring in the UP. The water is about 80' deep, and it never freezes. The logs you see at the bottom of the churning bottom are over 1000 years old. Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

Canoe In The Mist
I happened to pass by this lake early one late spring morning and saw this lone canoe. I love it. Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.
