This happens a little more often than you might think. These two young moose were using the road at night vs walking through the snow. They weren't in a hurry! Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

Small Babbling Creek
For such a small creek, this one had a lot to say. While I used this creek to think, Bust3er figured it was perfect to wade in. Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

Baby Fox
This kit is getting up there in size. I was about fifty feet away from it as it was looking for mice and frogs when I took this shot. There were initially four kits, but within a month, I only saw three after that. Maybe the little one got picked up by eagles or maybe just died, I was never sure.... Sign in to see full entry.

Lisa At The Fireplace
Alright, you won't see much of her, but you can see her thigh! LOL The girl has gotten a bit shy of photos of her floating around. It may or may not have a basis, but I understand. She says it makes her thigh look 'fat.' ( This woman ain't fat! ) We have been working in the main greeting room today.... Sign in to see full entry.

That's One Big Yawn
This is a mama fox that was raising four pups. I had been in the area a lot, so she was not afraid of me. Here she was coming out after nursing her then young pups. She did a big stretch and yawn that I caught on 'film.' Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

Trillium Galore
One of the many things I loved about the UP of Michigan was the variety of plants and animal life I would see almost daily. These are Trillium plants. The forest floor was carpeted with them! Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

Barred Owl
I was playing 'hide-n-seek' with this guy before I was able to get a dozen or so decent photos of him. He is a 'barred owl,' a fairly common creature in the north. He was about twenty inches tall. Despite his droopy-looking eyes, he was wide awake! Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.
