These huge birds would often fly 1500+ miles nonstop to winter in lower Canada or the upper tier of the States. It would take them several days to recover from the flight, giving photographers like me a chance to get shots like this! Sign in to see full entry.

After a heavy snowstorm, I found these two young eagles sitting in the tree. Before you think, 'Awwww, they're scared or snowed in,' what they're actually doing is hunting.
