I was just now reminded about why I used to write in Word and then post to

blogit. I just wrote a lovely, one of my lovliest posts, I'm sure, for Another Day at Grandma's, and when I hit save and post, it went out into the Big Nada. Bummer. 556 words, it said, sigh.... Not writing about others, but rather, writing for others.

My Pakistani daughter at the U of A asked me to help her to apply for a job by aiding her in filling out the job application. I researched the business, researched the best answers and answered two questions on the app for her, which she had to make her own later and I wrote a poem that they wanted.... I started reading Amber_Mendoza's blog post and it went on forever.

And, here's the funny thing, I wanted to follow it for as long as it continued. And it went on for a long time. My friend who watches over special needs foster kids...wants to write a

book. She wants to do a children's book and I have avoided discussing it much with her as she wants me to illustrate it. She has been juggling three book ideas for years.... I remember a world where the police were the good guys, mostly.

Writing mean scenes into police books and feeling wronged by the police was a rare and surprising thing. Now, no one sees them as the go to person in a bad moment. I, like other writers, feel the need to script a youtube segment....

As I lay in bed for such long hours, for so very many hours, I imagine what I would publish as film on youtube. What would I say? About this Blog

I read about twenty-five audio books every five weeks and thought that other's might like to have some small reviews, so as not to waste my opinions on these books and to possibly guide others into different areas of reading. I read indiscriminately, meaning "I pull books off of the library shelves because I have not read them yet, not because they fit my narrow scope of interest." I read everything on the shelves.
