They've been playing "Die Hard" many times during the last month and I've
watched it many times. I must admit that I get a kick out of McClain answering the terrorist's admonition that he won't shoot because he's a cop and McClain answers that his chief keeps telling him to follow the rules, ironically....

seedllings, that is true, but I wonder whether it would become a popular read or dismissed as too too 'nice' and 'unrealistic' as all people are now seen as flawed only, and self-indulgent in the area of their flaws.

Your post made me reflect - why have good cops, or in fact
any people without major flaws, become so 'un-cool'? And of course, I have no answer. Maybe others have...
