My grandson Royal came to visit and we watched videos on youtube
while the dogs licked his hands off his arms again. I swear, at five months, he said, "Doggie." My son said the he uses that word and I do, too. Today I heard Royal say it, cross my heart. This is the monkey that I owned in Rio in high school.
I got her as a baby in 1963, I think and named her Bigorilho, or Bigo, BEE goo for short. We finally gave her, years later, to a crazy wonderful lady in DC who had two boy monkeys, as we could not keep her on our next overseas trip. HERE is what my Bigo looked like. Now, I'm really sad. I put up a new higher perimeter around the back garden yesterday.
It ain't pretty, but it's functional. Mosinha ran out the back door, finally released into the yard again and began to make her naughty run at the fence, when she discovered the green mesh standing atop her jumping place. I was just about to go to bed when I found a dead monkey on my knee.
My dogs try to communicate with me in funny ways. Today we were all a bit touchy. About an hour ago, I remember Baby coming over to me and then I turned away. It's raining and there is mud all over outside once again and the dogs,

Well, it is total love. Baby loves my Muslim hosted granddaughter.
As we wrapped dishes in newspaper, Baby kept handing her toys to my granddaughter for wrapping. She dropped her monkey into the boxes that we were filling to ship out and handed her chewed up teddy bear to her over 20 times. Today a Muslim young lady rose above and beyond the usual intolerance...
We had to go through her boxes and boxes in my storage shed and upon my back porch and none of my doors close as the walls are all skewed and so, I had nowhere to put the dogs as we were all over the property.
