Being gone has caused problems. Baby chews on and wrestles with

Mosinha non-stop. Mosinha spends her life egging on Baby or on her back, filthy in the dirt or today's mud. My white dog is brown, my house is beyond hellish and I shall have a visitor tomorrow for one night. I have been cleaning all morning, but for what?? I cannot win, shovelling sand on a beach,... A young woman in pyjamas walked by shouting, "Boo, Boo."

Her little boxer puppy had escaped while she slept and had presumably been gone for hours. She began to cry and turned back after passing my house. I had to be somewhere right then and could only encourage her to put up signs immediately as that is how we had gotten old neighbor MAX back within... Sign in to see full entry.

I am still crying over this wonderful video

A dog is hit by a vehicle and his friend, another dog comes to save him. I am still crying, loving those dogs and their love for each other. Love each other that much, okay? Here is the video Sign in to see full entry.

Drove by, what I call, the road kill trailer and vulture feeder.

Along the freeway to Phoenix sits an old trailer. It has been there forever. Whenever I drive by on the freeway, there is a dead cat on their piece of the freeway. This has happened for years. I am wondering if they grow kitties just to feed the vultures. I'm wondering whether they ever drive... Sign in to see full entry.

Another pitbull morning...

I was inside my van when a beautiful red and white (pinto, I call them) male pitbull ran up to the back garden gate to check out my dogs. He was about seven feet away from me and I lowered my window a bit. My dogs went ballistic and that is why I have a chain running across the gate opening, so that... Sign in to see full entry.

It is so easy to be a good pet owner.

Finances can keep us from doing our absolute utmost for a pet, but in an interpersonal relationship with them, all one has to do is to show them love and the darned idiots, like my Baby, melt in our hands. Mosinha is asking for more love lately, as I went away on vacation and she got worried, I'm... Sign in to see full entry.

Tommy, the Yorkshire Terrier. He weighs two pounds and is 7 mos. old.

He is my grandchildren's new puppy in Florida. His fur is silky and his manner is sweet. He has two sets of teeth in place and looks like a mini shark when his mouth is open. I mean, two of everything, all teeth, and two canines, top and bottom. So weird. He is the size of my shoe and one half,... Sign in to see full entry.

Can't decide whether to leave big new bones for dogs while I'm gone or

to prevent their having a dog fight over stupid bones while I'm gone. Water will be everywhere and I asked the neighbors to lock the dogs in at night to prevent stupid or endless barking, which I fear that they will do. I will leave enough food for the whole time..........as I put huge amounts in... Sign in to see full entry.

I wrote out the list of instructions for babysitting the dogs.

I am so afraid that they will escape while I am gone and then I will just die. I will go over the list of preventative measures to help insure their safety, but........my neighbors are so good to do this. Everything will be fine and I will only be gone from the 19th to the 24th. Sign in to see full entry.

I fed the dogs spoonfuls of canned dog food, then a few biscuits and

changed their water buckets with clean water. They ran in and out of the open back door as I worked in the garden, with Mosinha running in and out of her pool. I swept the kitchen and back hallway as it filled with muddy chunks from Moshinha's entrances and exits. I have to brush her as I found... Sign in to see full entry.
