Completely random blog.

After this, I'm going to eat manicotti. I forced myself to eat left over tuna by putting it in celery sticks for lunch. Not half bad and a good way to trick my tuna tired brain into not rejecting the food so I have to throw it away. Now, the problem is what to do with the celery sticks that remain.... 100 Words on Today

1000 White Women is one of those dreadful 18th century books written by women who know how to talk of little else besides heaving bosoms and ardent desire. Being a modern 21st century woman myself, I find such behavior among my compatriots both alarming and silly. I'm really glad that I wasn't born... Sign in to see full entry.

Reading

I want to read all of A.J. Jacob's books, all of Morgan Spurlock's books, and everything by Susan Strempek Shea. I figure that equals about 20 books. Plus, I've already started Hominids, 1000 White Women (which is really disturbing and provides a good idea of why women didn't want to end up in an... Sign in to see full entry.

Day Saved...

Potatoes are being made, yay! I feel better. I'm bleeding, but not heavily. It's weird. My short story is done. I'm grateful that I won't be out of the competition. It would suck to get out now. I'm excited to see how they score my transgender story. This one is also in first person. It didn't make... Sign in to see full entry.

Things I'm Thinking About...

Darwin...Neanderthals, obsessively....why all the best stories are written for kids. Does no one think adults need adventure? What I will do if I win this grant or for that matter any of the three I'm applying for. Perhaps I'll finally go on a search to find that disabled man in Eyes on the Prize.... Why are insurance companies so stupid?

Dealing with this subject in 100 words is going to be difficult, but I'll try. Massachusetts Medicaid is always saying it's broke. It would be less broke if they didn't require authorization for everything. I've lived here for eight years. I've always been in a wheelchair, in need of homecare, and... Sign in to see full entry.

Issues

I am not peeing. I have not peed since 8:30, despite drinking. It's probably good I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. I've massaged people on facebook, wrote and read today. Robinson Crusoe is so boring, why ought I to finish it? How is this a work out of great literature? It is a overly verbose, bad... Sign in to see full entry.

I Wonder if People Here Consider themselves Average

I don't because according to various sources the average American eats 3 cheeseburgers a week. I do that twice a year at ADAPT and I figure it's okay because I'm fighting for justice and just need something to fill my belly. I can't imagine this being my regular life. I like good burgers just as... Sign in to see full entry.
