Events...

I wrote a good poem at group tonight. Had a bit of a fight with Robyn. Finished my manuscript. And a rough draft of my artist statement. I mailed it to Maria, my mentor. Today

My cold stole another morning. Takng cold pills is a bad thing for me. Maybe I'll try taking a night one tonight and then I will sleep. The poor abused gray cat is outside eating food again. All about money!

Yay! I made payout! $5.13 (if I make no more money) more of the debt come 2/15. February is a big money expenditure month for me. I have to pay to pay 2 show fees and pay for PMN, plus I might need to pay for the Vermont Studio Center Contest. Plus I need to pay back a friend $300. It's a good thing... My efforts to honor MLK have failed.

As you know if you read my other blog, I was sick when I was supposed to go to the MLK celebration. I'm not much of a holiday girl. I like Christmas but who dosen't? On a Book...

I am listening to an Ender book, because it is due Tuesday. I'm on disk 2 of 9. I'm in 4th place in my story competition, with 66 points. It means I'll win $10 UK. Not a fortune, but still a win. Cat, sad...

I'm listening to Hot and Sweaty Rex on CD. It's a cool detective novel and I don't like detective novels, usually. My cat just appeared and decided (yes decided) to run away again. Good and bad things.

My cat being gone is a bad thing. But, my cat not being able to jump around on my printer is a blessing. I guess they're right. There's no cloud without a silver lining (except for cancer and HIV). Finally figured out what was wrong with my Dickens adaptation. Yay! That only took two years. I wonder if I should save the second part for the three day novel contest.
