Dude...I recently met a person whom at first blush seemed really cool

Upon consequent blushes it became veryvery evident that this person's setting was on full-blast spirit sucking vampire!  Sheesh!  Some people are just addicted to feeding that gaping maw of an ego at the expense of others and being absolutely clue free!

I ran screaming in the other direction and lost that number fast!!!

I know when someone is trying to waste my time!

BTW thanks for the note on my abuse blog

I've been working like a team of mules at this flipping remedy

And you know it seems like the more challenges I conquer and defeat the more challenges the universe wants to hand me

But you know me Daniel, I always step up to the plate

"BRING IT ON!!!"

Re: Sammy
Thus far you're the only Sammy I know of to visit my questionable quarters here.  I'm not likely to confuse you with another.  We sure enjoy having you.  (Carol Ann and I.)

Sammy works for me as long as I don't get confused with kabu's Sammy (her squirrel) because I am nuts enough as it is! Sammy 444

Re: jollyjeff
It's one of those "life sentence" girlfriends.  The never-ending story was based on actual events; but I haven't finished reading yet.  I'll let you know.  Thanks for coming.

Re: food4thought
One of the voices in my head is that freaky little albino girl from Poltergeist.  "They're heeeeeeere."  Just thought I'd share that.  I'm sorry, food, were you saying something?

Thanks for the visit, bro.

Re: ZenMom
I'm not saying that I'm not guilty of it, but it doesn't bother me so much when I'm the person who's doing it LOL.  Thanks for coming, Zen.

Re: sam444
Thank you, Sammy.  Do you mind if I call you Sammy?  For some reason, my voice-recognition recognizes Sammy more easily than Sam.  In any case, thank you for your time and input.

I have a girlfriend
who doesn't let me finish a sentence!

posted by jollyjeff on March 22, 2008 at 2:24 PM | link to this | reply

Possibly...
With our sound-byte mentality we can't remember our point long enough to let the other person finish. That's what one of the voices in my head says, the other just says "neener, neener, etc...."

Guilty as charged. I have to remind myself to listen better all the time.....
