Hallo America!
As you can see, I have safely made it back to Turkey and even my computer is working which is a great relief. Right now, we have water and electricity (which was a big problem during my last stay). Two things I would like to see globalisation for
One is the time. For someone like me, who hasn't grown up with the 'am' and 'pm' business, the time is a source of confusion. I find numbering the hours from 1 to 24 easier, clearer and there is no margin for simple mistakes. I mean, you can't possibly confuse a 7.00 appointment with one at 19.00...
