It probably sounds worse than it is, Vogue. Just be the sincere you; how are they going to argue with that? Sending you positive vibes......

Good Luck
Are you a Turkish citizen? I am confused. But what they put you through it is so unfair that at least 8,000 illegals come through the border daily without a thought to legal channels and poeple who want to enter legally get treated that way. just unfair, it should be the other way around.

Vogue
If they give you too much trouble, you can always come up here to Toronto, not a bad city! And you can still spend your winters in Miami, which is what I should be doing...

This my friend is a prime example of thoughts = experiences!
Try not to expect the worst; if I were you I would visualize the procedure as you want it to be; after all can't be any worse than your vision of it!!! Seriously, best of luck, I know these places have to pass their staff through special lessons that teaches them how rude and intimidating to be but I just know you will be fine and the outcome perfect; many blessings and thanks

That's seem rather  strange and even a bit cruel to forbid having someone there with you. Surely, they mean only in the actual room for the interrogating interviewing, not in the waiting room... Anyhow, viel Glück, meine Liebe!

Good luck
Consulate staff everywhere seem to be obliged to be rude barstards, but I'm sure they won't actually mince you...
