I like the Great Gatsby; I think there is only about 3 hours real time in the novel! sam

Only you, Vogue, would find Flushing Meadows, NY in remote Turkey!  I loved the piece, your pacing and voice.  Kept me riveted till the end.  And I've always wanted to know - why did a nice German girl decide to buy a place in Turkey??? Mal

Very nice article: I think that it is one of your best up to date, meine Liebe! And, did you, in the end, find dry pair of shoes to buy?

Not at all surprising that they published your article; it's brilliant Vogue. Vivid descriptions and an unusual way of linking it to literature.
