Where's the common sense at?

I just read this article: F-16 Accidentally Fires on School http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,137632,00.html It angers me. Not that the pilot shot at it (although the pilot really screwed up), but that who in their right mind would build a school that close from a military firing range. I'm afraid... Well, our leader has been chosen....the outlook is grim.

It saddens me as I write this. I voted for Kerry. Not necessarily that he is the best ever but he is better than Bush. I forsee the following: 1) More death! More troops dying for the "War on Terrorism" (i.e. the never ending war). I see at least on more country that we are going to attack and... Sign in to see full entry.

Flu Vaccine

I was watching the Today show (or half paying attention) when they mentioned that Denver would be/or all ready is implementing a lottery on who will get the flu vaccine. I thought we all ready decided that children under two, pregnant women, the elderly, and the chronically ill would receive it? I... Sign in to see full entry.

The upcoming election in Florida/News

I'm worried about this election. Not really about who wins at this moment (I know who I'm voting for). I think I'm more worried that some how Florida is going to screw up again so bad that there is going to be controversy like the last election. I've lived in Florida since 1999 and it was a total... Personal Responsibility

I'm getting tired of hearing on the tv/radio/blogit, how it's everybody elses fault when something bad happens to someone! What happened to society where no one has personal responsibility? Everyone saying it's "McDonalds and fast food places" fault that our society is obese. HUH? NO! They didn't... Sign in to see full entry.

EBay and PayPal

So, since I left the military we've been a single income family. Which is hard to get used too. I was making more than hubby. To offset it I started selling stuff on ebay. It was cool at first. I was selling stuff and didn't notice some things. Like Ebay kept changing their search area that now it's... Sign in to see full entry.

Voting and the issues

What happened to voting on a candidate on all of their issues/views? Instead, now people are voting strictly Dem/Rep. People don’t seem to research the issues anymore. I admit, I’m a democrat, however, I don’t have all dem or all rep views. I will vote for the candidate who has the most of my views.... Sign in to see full entry.

It's a sad day when someone else can dictate to you who can or cannot marry

I was saddened while reading that the California Supreme Court on Thursday voided the nearly 4,000 same-sex marriages that occurred in San Francisco. I read on CNN.Com about it. It angered me because the first couple that was married was a couple who were 83 and 79 years old and who were together... Sign in to see full entry.

What is up with XBOX? or How having an XBOX can kill

Please tell me why someone would kill (with the help of three others) six people? He (and his cohorts) went into someones houses and with aluminum baseball bats beat the living daylights out of the six people and stabbed them as well. Not only that but the girl who had the XBOX he beat so bad that... Sign in to see full entry.

New Kerry Bashing Ad by Vietnam Vets

I've recently watched the new ad by Vietnam Vets bashing Kerry. It's disgraceful! First of all none of the vets in that add worked on the same boat as Kerry so how would they know how he was? Thank goodness the Republican Party and VP are trying to distance themselves from this "independent group".... Sign in to see full entry.
