And to offset, sellers are upping their opening price to the point buyers can get much of it just as cheap locally. In some cases, after shipping, it is a better bargain to buy it new locally than to pick it up used on ebay. Then, you have to factor in the cost of that occasional rip off you tend to get on ebay.
