but...WHY do gays, who go against "God"(the person who CREATED

ok...but WHY do Gays, who go against God (the person who invented marriage and commands his people to marry and produce and blah blah blah)...why, if you're going against God ANYWAY...why do what God wants and get MARRIED?  That to me, is the really stupid part!!! Our laws are based on biblical principals, now , because we've perversed ourselves over the years in a million different ways, we want to go back and redo laws and guidelines.  For those of you who want the Bible to be nowhere near a courthouse,  you are asking our country to throw out the book our laws were based on. Your marriage should be annuled since you do not BELEIVE in the insane idea of God to join a MAN and a WOMAN together.

I will also add that I have gay friends, and I love them and pray for them and they are equal to us. I just feel that they ought to create their own union since they're changing the rules to the marriage game.  They can call it a "Gay Partner Union" which is descriptive and respectful in name. But the terminology "MARRIAGE" is used totally out of legal context when not applied to that (occasionally) sacred union of a male and female partner.

HOWEVER....if you want to get BENEFITS...which is where all of this really originated from...then someone needs to form an insurance company which will create contracts specifically for "GAY PARTNER UNIONS" and it could be a good business.  But you can't force businesses OR individuals to look at a traditional marriage  as the same thing as a "GAY PARTNER UNION." And i mean no disrespect, the gay males i know, although one is now halfway a female who calls himself Jennifer, they all agree with this line of thought.

I totally agree...I don't understand

why we can't leave happy, loving people alone...there's too many other important issues to worry about. Let them love and marry the same...if it's a religious thing - let them worry about the consequences when and if God comes to judge...very sad indeed...in their hearts though, they are all ready married, in vows even the government can't break.
