I cannot go on

My body has given up and my soul is weary. I pray for sleep to not wake up for I'm just too too tired. I have no one to call upon they never have the time. Sleep Sweet Sleep

Well, I got to sleep from 12noon to 8:00pm last night while Joe watched Richard. Amazingly Richard did everything for himself, including changing his clothes and taking off his leg bag for his foley and changing out his leg bag for his foly bag. It Was Nice While It Lasted

Does anyone really need more than 3 hours sleep? We've been up since 1:30am. I tried to get back to sleep but just as I got relaxed, he would yell out. I thank God for hospice nurses and aides. Brenda came at 10:00 and gave Richard a good bedbath and washed his hair and shaved him.
