UPDATE III

I went to the police dept. again today. He gave me a 3 week extension to finish the cutting of the trees. My son came home and worked on them some today. Update III

The poison ivy is spreading! I'm not even scratching it. My son is on the road to mending. Yes I wore gloves. I also took a shower when I would come in from working on the yard. Update II

I had hoped we would be almost finished as of tonight. And then it happened. My son and I both have poison ivy. I've been taking showers as soon as I finished working every day. Of course now it's going to take a couple more days. I am so done with all of this. Sign in to see full entry.

Today

I dozed off for a little bit last night. The fire is still going! I'm waiting on my son to wake up to start all over again and hopefully get everything cut down today. It's been a long and arduous week and still we are not finished. Today was the deadline. I am hoping that they will cut me some slack since the work is in progress. Cop with a stick up his butt

We just changed the taillight on the left. A cop in one of the worst areas pulled us over. That police department writes so many tickets that they have to turn money over to the state.
