Winning The Hearts And Minds

Probably the most overused phrase on CNN right now, if not every editorial page in the country, is "winning the hearts and minds" of the people, Muslims, civilians, whoever, whatever. It is a phrase popularized during the Viet Nam war and worked real well then also. I just wish everyone would stop... Sign in to see full entry.
