God's Waiting Room

This morning I visited Jim in the hospital. Poor old fella. He's 95 and a veteran of Dunkirk with a chestful of medals and his eyes fill up whenever there's any mention of the war. He's a great guy with a gentle sense of humour and a clear enjoyment of life. I've never known him to complain about... Sign in to see full entry.

The Fallout Has Started

The fallout has started,as I knew it would when Freddie stumbled out of last week's PCC meeting muttering "Excuse me!" but avoiding eye contact with everyone and never looking back.
