A Christmas Surprise

Christmas morning my ex-girlfriend, who is now a roomate in my house and my daughter's caregiver- got a surprise call to come and visit her nephew- my best buddy who you might know as Piggens. She or we had so little hope of seeing him on the holidays that we had no present for him so she borrowed a present for my nephew and went off to see him. I wasn't invited so I didn't get to see him but she spent quite awhile with him and offered to take him and his dad to the park. They had a good time... Sign in to see full entry.

A long awaited visit with Piggens

Well we saw the little guy. He's almost six now so there was changes but he still had big smiles and seemed happy. But it has been a year and one half since his aunt or I have seen him and our hearts would break thinking about him and thinking about his broken heart with him missing us like we miss him. Truthfully I never knew when we would see him... Sign in to see full entry.

My daughter, nutrition, and miracle healing

My daughter is doing so much better! It is so amazing. I had said she had a scary July and it really was. In fact we had been in fear of her losing her feet for awhile now. Her wound care doctors and nurses had been regurly bringing up amputation as a means to end the unending wound changes and pain. It has been 3 and 1/2 years she has had open wounds on both feet that wouldn't heal. Of course during that time they had numerous infections and she has taken numerous antibiotics and has had I... late response

Thanks for your concern for my daughter and my friend's daughter. My friends daughter, Jayne, hasn't had a transplant yet as she has pneumonia but she is expected to receive a core blood transplant in October. Her Dad had a benefit for her at a local bar and collected a little bit of money for her needs. He is a musician and the bar community came through for them very well. My daughter went through a very scary July but things now are suddenly looking up. Three and one half years of open sores... Sign in to see full entry.
