the New Year goes on

Maybe now I'll just write whats on my mind or whats weighing on my mind. Weighing is a funny way to put it for if there really was a weight my mind would be as flat as a squirrel on a LA freeway. Well first there is Piggens who I miss so much and worry about. There is my daughter who has rheumatoid arthritis and scleroderma and open wounds on her feet going on 4 years now. I just somewhat finished a project that went way over my budget and time frame- a rental that I'm already having trouble... Sign in to see full entry.

Keeping tabs on a New Year

This year is interesting so far with but not all in good ways. My New Years celebration started with me at work- I work nights and on weekends- and this is after 20 years on the job! She has had rheumatoid arthritis and scleroderma for half her life now- 12 years. But the last 3 and 1/2 years she has the wounds on her feet that will... Sign in to see full entry.

Update on Jayne Johnson

Good news about Jayne- my friends daughter- she finally had her stemcell transplant on Dec. 1 and first she ran some fevers and had a rash but the doctors said she was doing better then expected. They have been keeping track of her neutrophil count- I don't know what that is- the count was 39 at first with 500 being the go ahead point for more testing. It rose steadily troughout the mont and now its 823. That is good news and she might get to go home in a week. This is a 14 month process and it... Sign in to see full entry.

Response to a hopeful comment

No, he is stupid, the reason he would call on Christmas Day is that everything is shut down so he had no where to go and no one to bug so his last resort is to call his nemesis- Aunt Joyce to get his social fix. Piggens emotional needs are last on his mind. The only things Charlie knows about raising a child is what CPS taught him when they got involved during our court fight for Piggens undercutting our chance to keep him. Charlie has lived by knowing street survival skills living on the bare... Sign in to see full entry.
