In House

I wonder how long this sensless buying of houses can go on? You buy a house in London, for 3 to 4 hundred thousand. Move up to the Midlans and buy one for a fifth of the price. How far can that go? Will you end up buying houses off the Eskimos? Only lottery winners can afford the dam things now. what a crazy system. So called intelligent people are running this country and this is their way of housing them. What crazy bastard is in charge of such a thing? And why do we let them do it? I don't... Poor old me!

I don't want this to sound like those other rants you get on hear, where they try to drum up support for all their little worries. I was hoping to put a touch of humour in the blog. But notmuch to laugh about at the moment. You think I've got problems? There is a firm in the village, mixed up with some strange activities, that has just gone bust for 25 million. No one really knows where the money has gone. My own theory is that it has been squirreled away to a numbered account on the other side... Sign in to see full entry.

sorry sorry sorry

What with people nocking at the door, and the computer doing a moody! Also I live in dread of the phone ringing, as the banks are on my back so much about this debt, I don't know where I am. Found out today that the email for the Consumer credit council was wrong. so my counciler never received the bloody details! No wonder they are on my back. It would not have mattered if not for the fact that we are selling only a quarter of the books we were six months ago. Ebay has turned around the... Sign in to see full entry.

Free Lotteries!

In a bid to get myself up the rankings of the Blog site, I thought I would put in some links to the Free Lotteries. http://www.thegoodshopguide.com/freelotto.html This is the Daddy of them all. I found all the others through this. But these are the main ones I use. http://www.thedailydraw.com/ Great site!!! You have to go through 2 pages to get them all. www.loopylotto.com/ Only one page, but easy. http://uklks.luckysurf.com/ A UK only site, but one easy page. http://www.bananalotto.co.uk/ The... Ebay and site traffic

I've noticed that Ebay provide a search tracking method now. this helps you spot trends in your site that might bring in more people. all this really does, it tell which what you already knew. If a book sells, it's because people want it. There for it will get a lot of traffic. It cannot tell you what people are after. Abe and the rest give you a wants list, but this only tells you that they MIGHT want the book. Sure, it tell you how many people want it, but you have to trawl through the whole... Articles and making money

One thing which has occured to me, is that people pay for market information. What I mean by this, is firms wonder what people will buy. They wonder why the hell they won't buy the things they have on sale, and they worry that they might be missing out on a secret way of selling anything to anyone. Now of course this is all crap. But most magazine, and now most web sites, work on this princible. They offer a magic lamp, that once rubbed, will tell you the secrets of why your five year old... Sign in to see full entry.

Non fiction writing

Have decided to try and make some money writing none fiction stuff. In the old days, the writing guides would have said: write for a magazine. Now of course it's the Net or nothing. I'm not convinced that people do make any money writing articles for web sites. If they were anything like me, the designers would simply lift the copy off another site. Why pay some one for some thing you could do yourself, for free? But hell, maybe people do amke money. If you Google: cash paid for articles, you... Sign in to see full entry.

Black Watch!

Sorry to hear that another trooper from the Black Watch regiment, has been picked off. I wonder how many have to die before Tony backs down? Thatcher only lost two hundred in the Falklands, so he's got a lot of bodies to go yet. Steve Sign in to see full entry.

Keeping up

Not much happening really. Can't bring myself to enter anything that would make any sense. What with George in Hospital and the Consumer credit council sorting out my bankruptcy, I'm not in the mood. The novel is going well enough, but just can't make that leap to put anything real down. Poor me! Steve Sign in to see full entry.
