When I look back on old files and old articles, I often find things that I tried to make money out of. One of them was Web design. Really it was just making web pages to flip for money, there was no long term plan for the things, just take the money and run. I got sidetracked by pyramid selling and then sidetracked again by stocks and currency selling. But I often look back and wonder what would have happened if I had made it as a web writer? Just a note to let you all know I'm still here and want to keep the account going. Mother had a bad fall, but she's bouncing back. Wish I could make enough for her to take things east, but the markets are against me at the moment. I did want to make regular entries, telling the world how clever I was and how well I was doing. Strange to think that the one thing I tried so hard to achieve has now come about. I tried so hard to get Mum and my sister back together again, and now it's happened, I feel guilty about wanting it so much. I feel selfish for wanting that one thing, purely because it suited me. It was for pure ego reasons and now I feel so shallow for trying to move people towards what I wanted. Well, we got a shock this morning, as my sister Sarah wanted to come over to see Mother. The real reason was the dog had died and could we bury it in the garden. Thanks to everyone who sent me support, it really helps. Another day has gone and we have escaped the post. I've noticed that the local town market has picked up, with everyone gambling on a big surge in spending. Not sure if it will work out. Not much happening here, but I feel I have to say something just to keep the account going. Had my second jab for Covid-19 so all that is behind us now. Even though most businesses are struggling. The only cloud on the horizon is the speed camera van. I was sure we were going more than 30 as we passed it, so we live in fear now of getting a notice through the post. We are struggling to get some money back from the bank. In the UK the banks went through a period of overcharging people for things, and even making up charges that never existed. I hold a joint account with my Mother and she has been overcharged for 20 years. the amount of money comes in somewhere around two thousand pounds and well over two thousand Dollars. One of my pet projects over the last few years, has been to try and bring my sister and Mother back together again. The main sticking point has been the money my sister owed after she made Mother the guarantor of her lease. She simply stopped paying it and moved in with another man, leaving Mother to face the landlord. Now, the matter was dropped and no more action was ever taken, but the damage was done. Bitcoin and cryptos generally have taken a tumble in the last few days. In fact, they fell off a cliff. The reason is Leverage. If you buy an asset on the market, you are offered it at the base rate. With Zero leverage. But you can buy it at twice the price; 10 times the price or even 100 times the price, with Leverage. All very well if you buy $25 in Bitcoin and find that at 10% Leverage it is now $250. But once it goes down you are now down so much that many exchanges will just wipe out your...
