I remember our local fair it even continued through the last war. It was sheeted over completely with tarpaulins. I used to love slot machines.

What a great photo! I haven't been to the fair in years but yes, remember it quite well. It was an exciting day for little tykes.

Oh yeah, you simply cannot forget the smell, sights, and sounds of the fair, no matter how old you get. I love this vintage photo. We finally get to attend our county fair this year in August. It has been canceled for the past few years due to COVID.
