Concrete! Who would have thought that I would get the chance to have a crack at writing a series of articles about the US concrete industry! Strange thing is I’m more than qualified to talk on it. We have one of Europe’s largest cement plants a mile from the village, and a huge concrete plant the other side of the town. I’ve come close to taking a job in both over the years.
