Ashes to ashes I feel I must say something about my day. Today I buried the ashes of my friend George in our garden. It was next to the cat, which he loved, and in a garden he loved a great deal. Of course you are not really allowed to do that, but as long as you keep your trap shut no one knows. This ends a 20-year period in my life that has been largely dominated by him.
