I watched the thieves speed down my driveway, my motorcycle on its side in the back of their truck and I was helpless. They had gone into the garage 90 feet from my house and taken the bike while we were home. Things happen fast and I barely had time to run out and get a description of the truck.... As practiced in the United States, the death penalty is a joke. How can something be a deterrent when it is not applied in a consistent and timely manner?
