Walking . . . .

There was an interesting article in today's Virginian-Pilot regarding walking. the article claimed that if one walks an average of 10,000 steps a day, they will do much to imporve their health. Based on the site I posted yesterday. The obvious direct health-related factors, of course, are nutrition, drinking habits, smoking habits, exercise, and regular check-ups. or at least one of the two will help one live longer. It offers joy and focus if you choose things that relate to life and to growth. I'm not sure if I lengthened my life today, or if it just felt that way!

My wife and I went to see Mystic River at the Norfolk MacArthur Mall this afternoon, the 1530 showing. We walked both ways, which was a round trip of about 7 miles. That has got to be healthy, but I don't know how it would affect longevity directly. Sign in to see full entry.
