Why is Leiberman Behind?

He seems to be the most rational, intelligent and civic-minded of the entire group of Democratic candidates. He should be way ahead of the rest, but he isn't. What is it with these voters and poll respondents? Be they daft? Sign in to see full entry.

Wives Not Needed; Stay Home!

We don't want or need or even care about the wives of the candidates. The news seems to be enamoured of the topic of wives on the campaign trail of the Democratic Candidates. As for me, I really want to know only that the candidate himself is on track and on issue. The wives are a distraction, props... Sign in to see full entry.

Snow in Norfolk, VA

It's snowing here in Norfolk, VA, and it is steadily coming down. I don't think it will last long, though. Our weather forcast calls for temperatures in the low 40s tomorrow. Sign in to see full entry.

Diet Plans Abound . . . . .

There is no "magical formula" to lose weight, although to do so is a relatively simple concept apparently difficult to carry out. Wake up everyone!

Morning, the earlier the better, is the most invigorating time of the day. Great time for writing, exercising, contemplating, or just plain enjoying a cup of coffee or tea with the morning paper. Sign in to see full entry.

One of my Favorite Authors, Robert L. Forward . . . .

Died in 2002. I was not aware of that until I recently visited his site where it was announced. He was both a creative, brilliant scientist and an exceptionally interesting, creative and gifted writer. I will miss him. Sign in to see full entry.

Discovery of "New" Author . . . .

New to me, anyhow. I highly recommend the well-established, award-winning author, Octavia Butler. If you have not read her work, I would recommend starting wither either Parable of the Sower or Kindred. Both excellent books. Click on her name, above, for more information about this wonderful writer. Sign in to see full entry.
