Wes Clark

Personally, I like Wesley Clark, although I believe he would do better by NOT answering accusations that he is a war-monger.  It's a straw man debate at best, as the conflict in Eastern Europe/dissolving USSR was Clinton's thing anyway...and in my opinion (and it's only an opinion!), the only conflict in recent years that has had any kind of good outcome, marginal though it may be.  At any rate, what was Clark supposed to do during those years?  Go AWOL?  I simply don't understand the logic.

I'm certainly no expert, but let's...

Compare and Contrast:

George W. - former ROTC, I believe.

Wesley Clark - 4-star General under the Clinton administration.

George W. - against supporting that "draft dodger" Clinton, who had the audacity to pursue a Rhodes Scholarship during the Vietnam era.

Hmmm that was more like free-association than comparison.  Oh, crap.  I need to get off my soapbox.  Happy blogging :)

Wives, families, pets, etc. . . . . .
I am always suspicious about candidates who "trot out" their "fuzzy, feel-good baggage" to impress us.  Impress us with your grasp of the issues and impress us with your plans to improve our country.  They you'll get my vote.  I rarely vote Democratic anymore, but am disappointed that Liebermann is not doing well, or at least seems to not be doing well.  He is the only Democratic candidate I could vote for.

Thanks, and Good Point!

I'm also getting sick of the use-your-kids-to-up-your-ratings campaign technique.  Despite my Democratic leanings, I don't care what these kids have to say about their dear old dads.

Thanks for commenting on my blog.  You're the first one! :)
