Back in high school I had an English teacher who claimed she had written a book that had been published! - She even brought a copy of the book to class to show us how she developed one of the chapters. - Turns out that she and her husband had a weekend hobby: They liked to explore NM ghost towns! So her husband took wonderful photos and she wrote the descriptions of what they found. - There was a chapter she called "Home of the Little Rag Doll." I used a spoon to tunnel out...no no that was the movie I was watching last night! After pushing the traffic cones over a bit I was able to get out of the driveway with no dammage. - I got home with all my groceries and even a bone for my dog. The city is re-doing the sidewalk and driveways all along my street. They have a good three-fourths of my drive-way torn up! - I don't think I can get my car out with out hitting one of those orange pointy things...ummm traffic cones. I was hoping they would finish up at least part of it on Friday, but they just threw a tarp over the wet cement and left. - Now on Saturday night and I realized that they probably won't be back till Tuesday! Years ago I dreamed of checking a Movie, any movie, even "Nanook Of The North," out of the Library. Now you can...and you don't even have to have a projector. They have classics and even some recent hit films on DVD and Video. All you need to take them home is a library card. - I've had one of those since before I started school. I was awakened by a voice saying "battery low." At first I thought it was part of a dream and tried to go back to sleep. Then there was an ear piercing beep followed by the words "battery low." - It was the smoke/carbon monoxide detector. But it wasn't detecting either. It beeped again and Bo barked at it.
