WHAT IT IS?
Frybread sometimes called "Indian frybread". Well, it is exactly what it sounds like. Fried bread dough. Served piping hot out of the fryer with butter and honey. I like mine plain. The folks on the corner who were selling it were from Gallup NM. They were there with their cousin who's son goes to Sandia High School. (Go Matadors!) They were raising money for the wrestling team. So I had to buy two pieces and wait for the second one to be cooked while I ate the first and talked with them. Now...

FRYBREAD?
Just a while ago I saw some folks at a corner near my house selling 'frybread.' They were on a corner near my house. Since I was on my way home with Bo in the car I passed on by. But now that he is happily snoozing and my chores around the house are done, I think I may go back and get some. I hope they are still there. I haven't had any frybread for years. Even bad it is good. Anyone else know what frybread is? I don't exactly remember I just know I liked it. So I am off to see if they are still...

ARE YOU A MAC OR A PC?
I just became a Mac...but I have a PC that has at least one virus. I couldn't even get the screen to light up! It's at the computer doctor(still under warranty~tee-hee). Now for some reason I asked at another computer store if there is an Apple store in town. "Yeah," one of the guys in the store said,"it's at ABQUptown. You know where that is?" "I think so." A PURPLE ROSE!?
About this time last year I rescued this rose: from the throw away shelf at Lowe's. I had wanted an purple rose earlier in the year but never found one. I took this one home cause it looked so sad and almost dead. I had a feeling it was still alive. So I took it home planted it fed and mulched it. This year it bloomed! I think it is purple! DROP THAT LIZARD!
Well, when I first opened the door to let Bo in I thought he had one of his milk bones in his mouth. He takes them outside and buries them then he goes out digs them up and brings them back in to eat. This time I stopped him for a minute because the bone seemed to be squirming. BLUETOOTH?
I know that means hands free phones and what not, but I always think first of having blue teeth. That wouldn't be a good thing. Unless you have been eating blueberries. Although thinking of things that are white but have blue on them and I wasn't but I am now. Did you know that if you buy white wall tires they come with the white part all covered in blue? SPEAKING OF FREE THINGS...
I just realized that I have two yes two Dancing California Raisin t-shirts. Does anyone want to guess how many bowls of raisin bran I had to eat to get them. Yes I got them free! Well, actually after I ate all that raisin bran I never wanted to see much less eat another bite of that cereal. I guess that's the price I paid. But it has been ten years and yeah even the thought of eating it still makes me sort of sick. That is odd in that I still like raisins and I don't mind bran cereal. Go figure....

THIS ONE MADE ME LAUGH!
So I was complaining about that last yogurt commercial, then turned on the TV to see another one. Some poor woman was yawning, about to pour herself a cup of coffee when her coffee mug takes off with her hanging on. There she goes down the street through shrubs, her neighbor's yard, past dogs and cats. Seemingly skiing on her pair of fuzzy slippers. Yes this could be me! finally she is going down the street past taxis buses traffic jams through city parks and a parking lot. She ends up skiing...

THIS DRIVES ME CRAZY!
I know it is a short trip in reverse, but none the less there is a commercial on TV that just makes me AHHHH! It's the one where a woman is standing in the dairy isle of her grocery store. She picks up a container of yogurt, peels the lid off and slurps the whole thing down. Then the collapsed empty cup just falls off of her face. She just stands there looking like nothing happened. To me that is just so gross! I now make it a point to not buy that brand of yogurt. So what if it has 20 calories...
