ON THE OTHER HAND... people have to have something to anchor to. this is their god. Their god is sacred to them. But I found a god different from theirs. I believe in god, as the title indicates. I do not, however, believe in the god-image that has been handed down to us for thousands of generations, for this is an image. WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE LACKING IN SELF-CONFIDENCE OR

EVEN CONFIDENCE in something beyond themselves. They've been "taught" that they are insignificant. Either by parents. or by peers or by their religious upbringing.
