A chicken in every pot...a gun in every closet

This morning on the FOX News Channel, I heard a discussion about a Pennsylvania community of about 500 that is considering requiring every household to keep and maintain a gun with appropriate ammunition in the household. When I heard about the idea, it seemed a perfectly good one to me. In fact, I suspect that most, if not all, of the houses in that community already comply with this suggestion. I was shocked, however, to hear all four panelists and the moderator oppose this idea as very bad.... Sign in to see full entry.
