Attention Pod People
I meant to go to the city farmers market, this morning, in search of okra in its prime. It's that time of the year to make the best fried okra ever, and the best has to be small, the tenderest and the freshest. Grandma Sanders' fried okra has been the main subject of our family FB site for days....

It's Coming
If I have to celebrate my birthday this year, I want it to be a lemon garden party,....lemons to smell, to taste, to look at, to squeeze, to zest, lemon ice, lemon pudding, lemon snaps, lemon soap, lemon candles, lemonade, lemon meringue pie.
