Grandson Dalton, stationed with US Army in Fairbanks, Alaska, went last week on a kayak trip with three of his army buddies. In spite of hordes of mosquitoes the size of small birds, in spite of huge chunks of ice in the water, in spite of fighting the roaring current, in spite of rolling his kayak...
