Theu're Going to Kill Them- an Update on The AIDS doctors

They're going to kill them. The AIDS doctors; I mean. According to the Short, Sharp Science blog posted yesterday. I'm outraged. I'm going to do something. I just don't know what that something is. Any ideas, folks? I'm calling and faxing the government of Iran on Monday. I never did it the first time (sorry to admit, although I told tons of over folks, too and think many did; I was just too ill and sore). One Wheelchair User Thinking...

I read this amazing article by Gary Presley. I was forwarded from ADAPT which I would have missed was I not a member of their organizer’s list. Like me, Gary lives a happy, productive wheelchair users’ life. Like me, he finds his electric wheelchair liberating, nor we are not “confined to” it, a demeaning term that some able-bodied people use to describe our life altering mobility equipment. Bigoted Talk Show Host!

On the radio today, I heard this man Michael Savage say that people on welfare should be denied the right to vote until they get off benefits. I wonder what this means for disabled people or old people who are on benefits of some level usually. I think this idea very bigoted. Tomorrow, I'll write him an email explaining my objections. Philly Wins!

Got the following message from my activist buddies in Philly. It was sent at 9:33 PM yesterday. They got a meeting with the Mayor by the end of September. If he's smart he won't try to get out of it, otherwise my friends will just be back again. The actual victory email follows.
