Do you read the book first or see the movie first?

I'm reading "Memoirs of a Geisha" right now, a facinating book, and I am looking forward to the movie which will be out soon. When movies are based on books, do you think it's better to read the book first or see the movie first? I usually have always read the book first because I read so much but... I'm going to cut short this week of former job musings unless someone wants to hear more-- it's hasn't been fun for me to get into that. Are memories mellowed by time?

Thinking about jobs past, one of the most difficult jobs I had was as a cable splicing supervisor for the phone company. A week of former job musings

I decided to do a week of writing each day about former jobs. It won't be boring-- I've had some interesting ones for sure! One of the most rewarding former job I had was as a caretaker for Alzheimer's patients. My longest term patient, Ardythe, was my friend for almost 5 years. I learned so much... Hi you bloggers, if you are having trouble adding photos or changing fonts, try a different browser. I was using Firefox because they are so good at blocking popups but when I tried my Netscape 7.2, this wonderful toolbar showed up! Here is a photo of Christmas past: Sign in to see full entry.

Do any of you bloggers hate Christmas music?

I'm hearing it again- in stores, restaurants, malls, elevators-- everywhere I go! You know what I'm talking about- that Christmas music. It's my recurring issue of 'do I have a choice here?' ok, which of you wears the same clothes all the time?

For as long as I can remember I have tended to have a small set of clothes that I am most comfortable in and wear all the time (washed of course!).
