It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood

I went to post-transplant clinic yesterday. So far, things are going along very well, although I wish my doctors would snap out of denial about my blood chemistry. My kidney-related numbers are elevated to the point where I have taken measures to prevent further damage to the kidney, such as watching my diet to avoid excess protein and phosphorus. Potassium is not a problem just yet, as I take water pills which drain the potassium out of my system so much that I have to have it supplemented. We... Sign in to see full entry.
