I deserve better than this
I live in a cramped, roach-infested apartment with no hope of moving any time soon, unless we are evicted due to nonpayment of rent. That looked likely until we handed our landlord a good chunk of what we owe him. What depresses me is that there is someone with valuable information for my husband - yet I fear that he will not contact her because she is politically conservative. My husband has always been liberal, thinking that a paying job (if I had one) would lead to personal fulfillment for me...
