Will it ever dry out around here?
This morning, we had storms so severe that the power went out for more than an hour. The reason why it was that long was that it took me some time to dig up the land line - the corded phone we use only during power failures because the cordless one doesn't work during power outages. The upshot is that we got more rain than we needed, yet again. Perhaps one day it'll dry out around here.
