Well the chicken is ok
Yesterday a small boy came into me screaming his head off about the chicken being dead. He was crying and beating his face with his hands in distress, 'The chicken, it dead. It dead. Bobi dead. The cat dead.' More hands flapping and tears and screams. I went out to the yard where the chicken was lying flat on its back on the table. It was in shock but still alive. Its eyes were glazed over.
