Writer's Block, Cracked or Not!
I have just been reading TAPS blog and her comment from Scott Fitzgerald with whom I disagree mightily. Poor old Scott died of alcohol abuse. I believe the creative impulse is ongoing but it takes a lot out of a person. Look at literary giants like Dickens and Patrick White say, and Walt Whitman. I believe the creative impulse in a writer is ongoing as you respond to events around you or draw on the past and how past events affect the way you deal with things in the present and your perceptions...
